As an industrial designer, my core strengths lie in creating innovative concepts with strong sketching and visualising skills. I am proficient in the practice of New Product Development such as market research, human factors, sustainable design and rapid prototyping. My postgraduate studies centred on the inter-disciplinary working relationship and use of representations during design practice. I have undertaken several fellowships including commercialising a design aid that was developed as part of my postgraduate research (Loughborough University, UK), exploring the use of rapid prototyping technologies at Vaal University of Technology (South Africa) and investigating the viability of a fully digital industrial design practice (Loughborough University). At present, I am a post-doctoral research fellow with the Inclusive Design Research Group at Brunel University in the United Kingdom.
I am open to opportunities in the field of design practice and research. I look forward to hear from you.
