Current Appointment (2015-present)

 

Eujin is a full-time member of staff at Brunel University London with the Department of Design, part of the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences. He tutors design modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level and supervises PhD students. He is a committee member for the Brunel Innovation Hub that spearheads initiatives for student entrepreneurs. My area of research explores the use of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Functionally Graded Additive Manufacturing (4D Printing), Reverse Engineering, Topology Optimisation and Augmented Reality. I employ the use of digital techniques to capitalise on technology advancements for creative practice such as 3D printed information graphics and prototyping for Inclusive Design studies. I welcome enquires from those who are keen to pursue PhD degrees to investigate how the use of Technology and Design can support New Product Development, Co-design, Social Manufacturing and Redistributed Manufacturing. Joint supervision, industry partnerships and collaborative research opportunities are very welcome.
